Bungalow is an inflatable textile installation in the Asian Paints Colour of the Year 2023 - Silver Escapade - on this 19th Century building at the entrance to Sassoon docks. A large silver form fills the first floor veranda representing the bustling city of Mumbai, brimming with ambition. The billowing forms of different sizes and angles show the coexistence of a people migrated from all over the country in search of opportunity. It reflects light and transforms the colonial style building lifting the focus up and out.

A series of giant spikes emerge from the first floor veranda of the historic bungalow building. A single inflatable form appears to wrap around the building accentuating the top-heavy proportions of the architecture. Playing with the form whilst drawing attention to the details of the original building. In an elevated position the piece can be tantalisingly seen from outside the garden by the clock tower and entrance to Sassoon Docks.
